The Rustic X Console has been a DIY favorite recently. Some friends of ours were looking to reorganize their media table but the popular media console dimensions you see on the web were too big for their particular space. So we recently built this custom-sized table with the Rustic X base design as a media console to fit in the corner of their family room. This ended up being a a mash up from the plans created by Ana White and Woodshop Diaries, and we used a paint + stain combination to achieve that weathered grey aged finish that goes so well with the look.
Ana White and Shara from Woodshop Diaries already have some easy to follow plans you can use, so I didn’t create any for this project, but thought I could still help out by posting a video of how our build went so you can see the steps in action!
